Twenty years, five genres, one guitarist
Based in Louisville, KY — available for club dates, private events, sit-ins, and festival slots around the region.
Cade Howard, live.
Cade Howard has spent the last twenty years on stages across Kentucky, moving fluidly between blues shuffles, jazz standards, deep prog cuts, and pop hooks — sometimes in the same set. A Louisville-based guitarist and vocalist, he currently splits his time between three very different projects: Night Parade (alternative rock), Sporelord (heavy psych rock), and Oddjob, a spy-themed outfit built around reinvented classic rock, dance, and funk covers.
Cade has been writing and recording his own music since high school, and that same ear carries over off stage: he records and produces music for other regional artists, and works as a live sound engineer at venues around Louisville. Earlier bands include Zardoz and Hounds & Horns out of Owensboro, and Ted Tyro in Louisville — and along the way, he spent eight years teaching rock music at School of Rock Louisville.
Whether the gig calls for a tight covers set, an original headline show, or a sit-in that needs someone who can read the room and follow the changes, Cade brings two decades of stage time and a catalog that runs from Muddy Waters to Rush.
